Helping you feel calm, supported, and in control on your fertility journey
Trying to conceive can feel overwhelming, uncertain, and emotionally draining—especially when things don’t go as planned. Whether you’re just starting your journey, navigating fertility challenges, or preparing for IVF, you don’t have to go through it alone.
I offer calm, personalised support to help you feel more grounded, informed, and emotionally supported throughout your fertility journey.
The Fertile Body Method is a mind body approach to fertility which acknowledges the importance of working with fertility problems in a holistic way.

Hypnosis is potentially a very powerful and effective therapeutic tool and is used in many of the techniques and approaches suggested in the Fertile Body Method.

Hypnosis is a trance state induced through focusing attention on any current internal or external sensory experience; hypnotherapy is the art of utilising this state of absorption to facilitate inner change, which can positively impact on physical wellbeing and fertility.

This support is designed for women who:

  • Feel anxious, overwhelmed, or out of control when trying to conceive

  • Are navigating fertility challenges or unexplained infertility

  • Are preparing for or going through IVF or assisted treatment

  • Have experienced previous loss or difficult journeys

  • Want to feel calmer, more positive, and more in control

How Does It Work?

Thinking about health as more than just physical illness is not a new idea. In many cultures, health has always included the mind, emotions, body, and even a sense of spiritual wellbeing. These parts are seen as connected, not separate.

Mind–body medicine is based on this same idea. It suggests that what happens in the mind can affect the body, and what happens in the body can also affect the mind. Instead of viewing the body as separate systems, it looks at the person as a whole. When one part is under strain, other parts are affected too. Health is seen as a balance that is always shifting.

Fertility is sometimes discussed in this wider context. Some doctors and researchers suggest that stress and emotional wellbeing may influence reproductive health. In stressful situations, the body can shift into a “survival mode,” which may temporarily affect functions like ovulation. This idea is also observed in parts of the animal world.

There has also been research looking at the link between thoughts, emotions, and fertility outcomes. Some studies have reported higher pregnancy rates in women who received psychological support such as cognitive behavioural therapy, compared with those who did not. Other research has explored whether emotional conflict or anxiety about parenthood may be present in some cases of unexplained infertility.

In assisted fertility treatments like IVF, some studies have looked at the use of relaxation techniques such as hypnosis during embryo transfer, with reports of improved outcomes and reduced anxiety.

Research into conditions like PMS has also shown links between symptoms and the body’s stress regulation systems, suggesting again that emotional and physical health may be connected.

Overall, the idea is that fertility and health are not only physical processes. Emotional state, stress levels, and mental wellbeing may also play a role. It is a more integrated way of looking at the body, where mind and biology work together rather than separately.
